Over 50 residents gather at Richland Gardens to protest against the use of Kowloon Bay clinic as a preliminary consultation centre for coronavirus patients

23rd February 2020 – (Hong Kong) At around 8.45pm today, residents gathered at Richland Gardens in Kowloon Bay to protest against the use of Kowloon Bay Health Centre General Out-Patient Clinic as a preliminary consultation centre for coronavirus patients. Kowloon Bay residents have been holding protests for days but the government has yet to provide a response.

At around 9.08pm , most residents clad in black started to march and shouted slogans. Some of them set off fireworks and popped champagne bottles. At around 9.45pm, The total number of protesters increased to around 50 and two police vehicles were parked outside Richland Gardens.
