Outsourced contractor at Cathay Pacific Cargo Terminal infected with COVID-19

19th January 2022 – (Hong Kong) An employee of Fly King Transportation Co Ltd, one of the export contractors of Cathay Pacific Cargo Terminal, was infected with COVID-19 last night (18th). The employee worked as a forklift driver on the 5th floor of Cathay Pacific Cargo Terminal. He was still working yesterday.

Cathay Pacific closed the canteen on the 3rd floor of the cargo terminal at around 11pm last night, and it has arranged for thorough cleaning and disinfection of the relevant working places, locker rooms and places of stay. It is understood that there are more than 1,000 employees on the site.
