Operators of a number of ferry routes suspend services due to Strong Wind Signal, No. 3

1st July 2022 – (Hong Kong) In response to the approaching Tropical Cyclone Chaba, Strong Wind Signal, No. 3  is now in force, and the sea surface is windy and swell. Operators of a number of ferry routes announced today (1st) that they will suspend their services, including the routes of Fortune Ferry from Tuen Mun via Tung Chung and Sha Lo Wan to and from Tai O. The service will be suspended from 7am this morning, and the resumption time will be notified separately.

In addition, due to mechanical failure, the Central-Hung Hom route of Fortune Ferry was from 8.10am today, and the resumption time will be notified separately. Tsui Wah Ferry Service announced that the services between Ma Liu Shui and Tap Mun, Huang Shek and Tap Mun, Huang Shek and Wan Chai and Chek Keng, Ma Liu Shui and Tung Ping Chau, and Aberdeen and Po Tai Island have been suspended. Routes between Aberdeen and Pak Kok Village and Yung Shue Wan on Lamma Island will continue as usual. Peng Chau Kaito also announced that the route between Discovery Bay and Mui Wo will also be temporarily cancelled.
