24th October 2020 – (Hong Kong) The Port Office of the Shenzhen Municipal Government of Guangdong Province issued a notice on Friday (23rd) stating that the one-way route from Shekou Cruise Homeport to Hong Kong Airport will be resumed next Wednesday (28th) after Hong Kong and Shenzhen governments negotiated. The notice emphasised that passengers are not allowed to enter Hong Kong, and the route from Hong Kong Airport to Shekou Cruise Homeport continues to be suspended.
According to the notice, passengers are required to present the “QR Health Code” within 72 hours before boarding for inspection by the on-site staff of Shekou Cruise Homeport. Passengers who fail the inspection are not allowed to board the cruise. Passengers can take a boat from Shekou Cruise Homeport to Hong Kong Airport to board a flight, but it is emphasised that they cannot enter the Hong Kong city. Passengers are also required to sign a statement. If they cannot board the flight at the Hong Kong Airport and need to return to Shenzhen, they must be quarantined for 14 days in Shenzhen at their own expense.
