2nd June 2023 – (Hong Kong) At 9.57am today, a concerned citizen reported a large beehive on a tree across from 5, Tsing Luk Street in Tsing Yi to the authorities. Upon receiving the report, officials immediately dispatched personnel from the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department’s contracted pest control team to the scene. Firefighters also arrived with a fire ladder to spray insecticide and destroy the beehive.
