2nd February 2023 – (Hong Kong) A fire broke out at a construction site near Fu Tip Estate in Tai Po at 9.02pm today, and was upgraded to No. 3 alarm at 9.13am.
The fire was surrounded at 10.50pm and largely put out at 10.53pm. Firemen used four jets and mobilising four breathing apparatus teams to fight the blaze.
No casualties have been reported so far.
Members of the public who are being affected by the smoke and an unusual odour carried by the wind are advised to close their doors and windows and stay calm.
