2nd September 2026 – (Hong Kong) A deadly landslide struck the border region of Tibet and Nepal on 26th August, causing severe flooding across northern Nepal’s Rasuwa district. As of 31st August, the disaster has claimed 919 lives and left around 4,800 people missing, drawing international concern and a surge of charitable responses.
Nicholas Tse has discreetly donated one million yuan through the China Charity Federation to support urgent relief efforts in the affected areas of Gyirong County, Tibet. The contribution is earmarked for emergency assistance, transitional arrangements, and longer-term reconstruction work on the ground. Tse stated that he will continue to monitor developments in the disaster zone and expressed hope that all those affected can recover quickly and rebuild their lives.
Numerous figures from the mainland’s entertainment industry have also made contributions to relief efforts.
