New Lucky House in Jordan remains sealed as workers arrive to repair power supply equipment


13th April 2024 – (Hong Kong) Despite the passage of time, the aftermath of the devastating No.3 alarm fire that engulfed New Lucky House, in Jordan, remains unresolved. As of this morning, the building remains sealed off, with law enforcement agencies and civil affairs personnel stationed outside to provide support to the affected residents. They are facilitating the gradual return of residents to retrieve their belongings and essential items.

At around 10am this morning, workers arrived at the building to repair the damaged power supply equipment caused by the fire. However, partial disruptions in water and electricity supply persist within the building. Additionally, various organisations have also arrived on-site to extend their support in the process of post-disaster reconstruction for the residents.
