18th September 2019 – (Hong Kong) Since Junius Ho’s infamous handshake with the men clad in white during the clashes on 21st July in Yuen Long, his offices and parents’ graveyard have been vandalised and damaged. Netizens called upon others to disrupt the race at Happy Valley racecourse tonight after they learned that Junius’ horse, ‘HONG KONG BET (C082)’ would be taking part in the first race at 7.15pm tonight. After taking into account safety concerns, Hong Kong Jockey Club decided to cancel the race event this evening.

Meanwhile, a group of members have initiated a campaign to remove Junius Ho’s membership from the Jockey Club and also to withdraw his horse from participating in all future races. The senior management of Hong Kong Jockey Club reportedly called Junius to withdraw his horse from the race today but his refusal to comply resulted in the cancellation today.
