MUST TRY LIST – Authentic Taiwanese cuisine at The Night Market

3rd July 2019 – (Hong Kong) The Night Market is a contemporary Taiwanese dining eatery that is one hundred percent MSG-free, tablecloth-free and fuss-free. The interior doesn’t shout Taiwanese but it’s designed to look more like a contemporary Western casual dining restaurant.

The owner Allen Lin, a Taiwanese wanted to share his local cuisine with the Hong Kongers at affordable prices.

We ordered three types of noodles i.e. Taiwanese spaghetti (HK$76), dry noodles with shrimp and squid (HK$72) and Taiwanese noodle soup (HK$62). Service was efficient and we were pleasantly surprised after tasting their al dente texture of noodles packed with flavours.

We also tried roasted eggplant with dry basil (HK$78) and another delicious dish we recommend is Shouzhua Fried Cake topped with spring onion which cost only (HK$36).
