10th February 2026 – (Hong Kong) The MTR Corporation has opened recruitment for Customer Service and Revenue Protection Officers, a frontline role focused on combating fare evasion across the rail network. The position offers an attractive remuneration package, including an estimated average monthly income of HK$22,700 and a one-time joining bonus of HK$12,000 for successful candidates who meet specified conditions.
Applicants are required to have completed the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education with five subjects at Level 2 or above, or have five passes in the HKCEE including English. The corporation emphasises the need for strong communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude. The role is full-time and involves shift work, with allowances provided for uniform and working in adverse weather conditions.
Primary duties include conducting ticket inspections within railway premises, enforcing the MTR By-laws, and taking appropriate action against fare evaders. Officers will also assist passengers with facilities and ticketing systems, help manage crowds during incidents or special events, and support the operation of MTR feeder bus services.
