MTR announces that all stations have reopened to public after repair overnight

9th September 2019 – (Hong Kong) MTR announced this morning that all stations were up and running. All train services were normalised. Central, Wan Chai, Prince Edward and Mong Kok stations reopened after MTR completed preliminary repairs. Access to all exits were unrestricted. However, some public amenities would still take time to be repaired. Passengers are advised to seek advice from MTR staff with regards to the use of damaged public amenities.

Most exits at Central MTR stations have been cleared. The exit on Chater Road where it was burned has been restored. Only the two exits near Legislative Council Complex are still under repair. Areas where glass panel were shattered are now covered with white cloth.
