Mother believes daughter’s spirit manifests as butterfly one year since Abby Choi’s gruesome murder

    22nd February 2024 – (Hong Kong) Socialite Abby Choi, is believed to have been the victim of a gruesome dismemberment carried out by her ex-husband Alex Kwong and his family. Over the course of the investigation, six individuals have been arrested and subsequently charged. The ex-husband surnamed Kwong, his former father-in-law, and his former brother-in-law are facing charges of murder. Additionally, Choi’s former sister-in-law is accused of deleting messages and call records after the crime, leading to charges of obstruction of justice. The remaining two individuals are suspected of aiding Kwong in his escape and have been charged with assisting a criminal.

    As the one-year anniversary of Abby Choi’s tragic death approaches, her mother, has shared a new video expressing her belief that her daughter’s spirit has manifested in the form of a butterfly.

    It was on 24th February of last year that the shocking incident came to light, and Abby Choi’s untimely demise has left a void in the hearts of those who knew her. Her mother, who shared an incredibly close bond with her daughter. In a recent post on a social media platform, she commemorated the one-year anniversary of her daughter’s passing with a heartfelt message: “It has been one year since my kind, gentle, and loving daughter left me. Your sudden departure has been unbearable for me. Every time I’m reminded of you, my exceptional, filial, and obedient treasure, it feels like a knife piercing my heart. Even breathing becomes painful, and I tremble uncontrollably. Tears flow involuntarily, and the pain in my heart is indescribable. Only those who have experienced such heart-wrenching sorrow can truly understand. I know you have gone to heaven with lingering love and concern, and you must know how often I think of you. Something magical has been happening at home during this time. A butterfly frequently visits our apartment on the 50th floor. I believe it is a manifestation of our darling’s spirit, comforting us and remaining by our side.”
