Missing man found dead in car in Sai Kung with a pot of burnt charcoal next to him


25th October 2021 – (Hong Kong) The police received a report yesterday from the family of a man surnamed Yeung (59 years old) that he had disappeared after leaving his residence in Kwai Chung Estate last Saturday (23rd). The police immediately launched an investigation and searched for him.

At about 2am today, Yeung was found lying unconscious in a private car on Tai Mong Tsai Road in Sai Kung, with a pot of burnt charcoal next to him. Paramedics arrived at the scene and certified the victim dead. No suicide note was found and the cause of death has yet to be determined after an autopsy. It is understood that Yeung suffered from long-term illnesses during his lifetime.
