160cm-tall half-Scottish, Lisa Marie Tse crowned Miss Hong Kong 2020

31st August 2020 – (Hong Kong) The winners of 2020 Miss Hong Kong pageant emerged yesterday evening. The champion was No. 8, Lisa Marie Tse Ga Ye, the first runner-up was No. 2 Celina Harto, a trainee interior designer and the second runner-up was No. 4 Rosita Kwok Pak Yin. The recently announced “Miss Friendship” was won by Maisie Kwong.

Lisa Marie Tse Ga Ye who was crowned Miss Hong Kong also won the title of “Miss Photogenic”. Lisa Marie Tse Ga Ye was born on 26th August, 1995. Her father is from Hong Kong while her mother is Scottish. She was born in Scotland and she graduated from the Edinburgh Napier University last year.

She was nominated by Maria Cordero, a veteran Hong Kong singer to participate in the pageant. She flew back to Hong Kong from Scotland to take part in the competition.

Lisa is a surgical nurse and even though she doesn’t speak fluent Cantonese, she managed to win the applause of the audience by singing the classic song ‘Shanghai Tang’. The 160cm tall Lisa aspires to become a local actress under TVB Hong Kong.
