MIRROR boy band celebrates fan club anniversary with first fan meet at Kai Tak Cruise Terminal

    27th May 2023 – (Hong Kong) The popular boy band MIRROR held its first official fan meet to celebrate the one-year anniversary of the MIRROR Official Fan Club. The event named ‘HI! MIRO!”, held today at the Kai Tak Cruise Terminal, saw MIRROR members engage with fans and play games to celebrate the fan club’s first birthday. The event was met with both excitement and controversy, as fans eagerly awaited the opportunity to meet their idols while adhering to strict rules and regulations.

    Prior to the event, the fan club had announced nine strict rules that fans had to follow, including restrictions on the size of support items, light sticks, and cameras, as well as a ban on selfie sticks. Despite these rules, fans were well-behaved and enthusiastic, with MIRROR’s support teams cheering on Anson LoKeung ToEdan Lui, AK, Alton, Tiger, Anson Kong, and Jeremy.

    The event was not without controversy, however, as some fans expressed disappointment at the strict rules and the high ticket price of HK$480. Nevertheless, many fans felt that the event was well-organizsd and enjoyable, with two law enforcement officers present to ensure everyone’s safety.

    Before the event, MIRROR members took a tour of the venue and engaged in activities such as taking selfies and participating in a roast pig cutting ceremony, with Lokman Yeung taking charge of the roasting. Members also shared their excitement for the event on social media, with Keung To, Anson Lo, Edan Lui, and others posting updates about their preparations for the fan meet.
