Minibus crashes with a 7-seater vehicle in Sham Shui Po resulting in 8 injuries


9th March 2019 – (Hong Kong) A 43 year old driver crashed his minibus with a 7-seater vehicle at the traffic junction of Yen Chow Street, Sham Shui Po around midnight yesterday. The minibus lurched forward for over 10 meters before landing on its side. Plumes of white smoke were billowing from the minibus after the crash. There were 12 passengers on board during the accident.

Two drivers from both vehicles, 4 male and 2 female minibus passengers aged between 19 – 43 years old were injured before being subsequently admitted to hospital.

A few witnesses saw that the minibus did not stop when the traffic light turned red at the junction. Police are currently investigating the cause.
