Masked palm civet rests at entrance of building in West Central


5th July 2020 – (Hong Kong) At 12am today, a security guard at Tai Hong Building on Holland Street in West Central called the police after spotting a 1.5 ft masked palm civet at the entrance. It was resting on a carpet but it did not sustain any injuries. Police placed two traffic cones at the building entrance to prevent it from escaping.

Officials from Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department later and put it into an iron cage before being sent away.
