Man slashed by assailant in Mong Kok

18th October 2021 – (Hong Kong) At 7.10am this morning (18th), the police received a report from a female passer-by, stating that a man was found injured lying on the ground outside  Tung Chun Commercial Centre, 438-444 Shanghai Street, Mong Kok. Police officers came to inspect the scene and called an ambulance to send the injured man to the hospital for treatment and investigated the cause of his injury.

It is understood that the victim was a middle-aged man. He was pursued and slashed by a man with a sharp weapon outside a congee and noodle shop at the junction of Portland Street and Dundas Street. The man later fell to the ground with his hands wounded, and the assailant escaped after he succeeded.
