5th June 2023 – (Hong Kong) At 9.20am on 5th June, a man in his forties was found lying on the roof of a tin shed on the first floor of Cheong Fat Mansion, 19 Cheung Wong Road, Mong Kok, suspected to have fallen from a height. Rescue personnel arrived on the scene, and firefighters used a lift to rescue the man, who was conscious at the time. He was accompanied by a female friend or relative and taken to the hospital for treatment. According to reports, the man is a resident of the building and is believed to have fallen from a location near an elevator. He has a history of mental illness, and suicide cannot be ruled out as a possible cause.
