Man in 70s jumps from top of columbarium at Cape Collinson Chinese Permanent Cemetery in Chai Wan

6th December 2021 – (Hong Kong) At 1pm this afternoon (6th), a nearly 70-year-old man fell from the height of the third columbarium of the cemetery at Cape Collinson Chinese Permanent Cemetery in Chai Wan. He was found lying unconscious on the opposite side. The cemetery staff found the victim in a coma and called an ambulance to send him to the hospital for rescue. The police arrived at the scene to investigate and found a piece of clothing and other belongings believed to belong to the victim on the 7th floor of the columbarium. It was suspected that he had fallen from there, but the reason for his fall is yet to be investigated.
