2nd October 2023 – (Hong Kong) A lifeless body was discovered by passersby on the roadside in Tseung Kwan O. The incident unfolded at approximately 1.05pm today (2nd), along Wan Po Road, near Chun Wang Street in the Tseung Kwan O Industrial Estate.
Concerned pedestrians stumbled upon an unconscious man amidst the bushes adjacent to the road and promptly alerted the authorities for assistance. Upon arrival, rescue personnel confirmed the individual’s unfortunate demise. Following a preliminary investigation, it was revealed that the deceased was a man in his forties who had inflicted self-harm by slashing his neck and hands with a sharp object. Officials have reached out to the man’s family to gather further information about the circumstances surrounding the incident.
According to sources, the man had engaged in a heated argument with his family last night (1st) before departing on a bicycle and subsequently losing contact. It is speculated that the altercation and subsequent disappearance may be connected to the tragic events that unfolded this afternoon. However, a thorough examination is necessary to establish any definitive links between the two incidents.
