Male person in charge of a prostitution establishment arrested in Mong Kok


14th October 2021 – (Hong Kong) The Mong Kok District Special Duty Squad, based on informative reports and after in-depth investigation, launched an anti-vice operation today (14th). It dispatched officers to disguise as customers and smashed a prostitution establishment at No. 456 Shanghai Street, Mong Kok. A local man named Wong (65 years old) was arrested as he was suspected of “managing a prostitution establishment” and violating the Prevention and Control of Disease (Requirements and Instructions) (Business and Premises) Regulations (Cap 599F). The arrested man is currently being detained for investigation.

During the operation, police officers seized evidence such as account books, condoms, signage and towels.
