Male employee at Sha Tin Racecourse kicked and injured by horse before being sent to hospital

30th January 2023 – (Hong Kong) At 8.07am today, a male employee at the Sha Tin Racecourse was suspected of leading a retired horse for a morning run, but he was kicked in the stomach by the horse which lost control. The victim shouted to his colleagues for help, and called the St. John’s Ambulance Team at the racecourse. The conscious victim was sent to the Prince of Wales Hospital by ambulance. The cause of the incident is yet to be investigated.
