Male cyclist passes out on cycling trail next to Tolo Highway and dies at hospital

7th February 2023 – (Hong Kong) At 12.11pm today, a man was riding a bicycle along the cycling trail next to Tolo Highway promenade. When he arrived at the opposite side of the Billow Bar Seafood Bistro, he felt unwell and suddenly passed out. Passers-by saw the incident and assisted in reporting the case to the police. An ambulance arrived at the scene and sent the unconscious victim to the hospital for emergency treatment but he was subsequently certified dead. Police officers took the victim’s bicycle away and are currently investigating his physical condition and cause of his death.
