25th April 2020 – (Hong Kong) The second-generation Apple’s latest iPhone SE was released today. The entry-level 64GB model is available for purchase at HK$3,399. Despite the low price, there was no hype in the local Apple stores in Hong Kong. Due to the coronavirus pandemic and Chinese border closure, very few parallel importers would want to stock up and risk being quarantined for two weeks.
For the first time, the demand for a new Apple iPhone has been lukewarm and some shops in Mong Kok have offered to buy the new iPhone SE 64GB for as low as HK$3,000 only.
