Lockdown testings implemented at Toi Fung House, Fung Tak Estate in Wong Tai Sin and Kwai Yat House, Kwai Hong Court in Kwai Chung

4th July 2022 – (Hong Kong) The Government today exercised the power under the Prevention and Control of Disease (Compulsory Testing for Certain Persons) Regulation (Cap. 599J) to make a “restriction-testing declaration” (declaration) effective from 5pm, under which persons within the specified “restricted area” in Wong Tai Sin (i.e. Toi Fung House, Fung Tak Estate, excluding non-domestic units on G/F) are required to stay in their premises and undergo compulsory testing. Persons subject to compulsory testing are required to stay in their premises until all such persons identified in the “restricted area” have undergone testing and the test results are mostly ascertained. The Government aims at finishing this exercise at around 10am tomorrow . The operation may be extended depending on test results.

In addition, lockdown testing has also been implemented within the specified “restricted area” in Kwai Chung (i.e. Kwai Yat House, Kwai Hong Court, Kwai Chung) . Persons subject to compulsory testing are required to stay in their premises until all such persons identified in the “restricted area” have undergone testing and the test results are mostly ascertained. The Government aims at finishing this exercise at around 8am tomorrow The operation may be extended depending on test results.
