Lockdown testings at Ming Hoi House in Tai Po and Tak Lai House in Kwun Tong implemented till tomorrow morning

7th July 2022 – (Hong Kong)  The Government today exercised the power under the Prevention and Control of Disease (Compulsory Testing for Certain Persons) Regulation (Cap. 599J) to make a “restriction-testing declaration” effective from 5pm, under which persons within the specified “restricted area” in Tai Po (i.e. Ming Hoi House, Ming Nga Court, Tai Po) are required to stay in their premises and undergo compulsory testing. Persons subject to compulsory testing are required to stay in their premises until all such persons identified in the “restricted area” have undergone testing and the test results are mostly ascertained. The Government aims at finishing this exercise at around 10am tomorrow. The operation may be extended depending on test results.

Restriction-testing declaration” has also been implemented within the specified “restricted area” in Kwun Tong (i.e. Tak Lai House, Tak Tin Estate, Kwun Tong, excluding non-domestic units and social service units on ground floor and first floor, the road under the footbridge from Tak Lai House to Pik Wan Road and the elevated road at Pik Wan Road). Persons subject to compulsory testing are required to stay in their premises until all such persons identified in the “restricted area” have undergone testing and the test results are mostly ascertained. The Government aims at finishing this exercise at around 11am tomorrow. The operation may be extended depending on test results.
