Legislative Councillor, Junius Ho assaulted and injured at Tuen Mun MTR Ferry Pier stop


6th November 2019 – (Hong Kong) At around 9am today, pro-Beijing Legislative Councillor Junius Ho was assaulted while campaigning for the upcoming district council election on Wu Chui Road near Tuen Mun MTR Ferry Pier stop. His assistant and the assailant were also injured. Police received report and rushed to the scene. Paramedics sent Junius Ho, his assistant and the assailant to the hospital. The case has been classified as assault causing bodily harm.

The armed assailant with knife attacked him and the assistant before being restrained by 3 passersby. All of them were sent to Tuen Mun Hospital. According to sources, the assailant was already detained by police.
