Legendary World Football Cup 2024: Michael Owen and Paul Scholes lead teams in Hong Kong showdown

5th December 2023 – (Hong Kong) Renowned football legends Michael Owen and Paul Scholes are set to grace the field once again. The two icons are scheduled to visit Hong Kong in January next year to participate in the highly anticipated “Legendary World Football Cup 2024.” Joining them will be a star-studded lineup of football veterans, including Luis Figo, Gilberto Silva, Robert Pires, Patrick Berger, Vladimir Smicer, and Steve McManaman, alongside local talents such as Lee Kin-wa, Chan Siu-ki, Leung Nang Yan, Lau Wing-yip, and Ku Kam-fai. The event will take place at the grand Hong Kong Stadium.

Michael Owen and Paul Scholes, former England national team players and now occasional pundits, will lead their respective teams, the “Owen Masters” and the “Scholes Legends,” in this highly anticipated encounter. The match promises to be a spectacle, with an array of footballing greats showcasing their skills on the hallowed grounds of Hong Kong Stadium.

The allure of the veteran’s game lies in the glittering array of stars on display. In addition to the two former English footballers, other legendary figures such as Luis Figo, Gilberto Silva, Robert Pires, Patrick Berger, Vladimir Smicer, and Steve McManaman will take part.
