Lee Kwang-soo says goodbye to ‘Running Man’ after 11 years

28th April 2021 – (Seoul) South Korean actor, Lee Kwang-soo is leaving Korean TV show Running Man after 11 years. The news was released by his agency, KingKong by Starship yesterday and it was reported that despite receiving regular physical therapy after an injury sustained during a car accident last year, it was hard for him to keep up with the show’s physical demands. He will make his last appearance on the show on 24th May.

The show, which first aired in July 2010, will continue with its other members.

Lee Kwang-soo  made his acting debut in the sitcom Here He Comes (2008) and received further recognition for his roles in medical melodrama It’s Okay, That’s Love (2014), neo-noir film Confession (2014), black comedy film Collective Invention (2015), sitcom The Sound of Your Heart (2016), drama Live (2018) and human comedy film Inseparable Bros [ko] (2019).

Besides acting, Lee is known as one of the regular cast members of the South Korean variety show Running Man since 2010 until his departure in 2021 recently.
