LCSD’s ‘Frisbee · Kai Tak Station Square’ to be held on 4th December

23rd November 2022 – (Hong Kong) The Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) will hold Frisbee.Kai Tak Station Square in Kowloon City as part of its [email protected] campaign on 4th December (Sunday), offering a variety of frisbee activities for members of the public to experience the vibrancy of the park and celebrate the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR). This event is under the exclusive sponsorship of the Hong Kong Jockey Club (HKJC), and is one of the many initiatives supported by the HKJC’s approved donation of $630 million to the Government of the HKSAR to mark the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the HKSAR, demonstrating that the HKJC is resolute in pursuing its purpose of acting continuously for the betterment of society, all in support of creating a stronger community together.

The event will be held at Kai Tak Station Square from 2pm to 5pm on the day. Admission is free. People of all ages are welcome to join the programme on the spot. Participants will be able to enjoy the fun of playing with frisbees and get free training in basic frisbee skills from the Hong Kong Flying Disc Federation, as well as take part in fun games and a mock competition.

Moreover, game booths on new sports and a sports interactive game zone will also be set up in the venue so that more opportunities can be provided for members of the public to take part in less accessible sports and play them through the combination of multimedia and virtual reality technology.
