24th March 2023 – (Hong Kong) At around 2pm today, a 71-year-old male employee of Water Gate Chicken Rice restaurant, located on the ground floor of Empire Court at 2-4 Hysan Ave, Causeway Bay, accidentally slipped and fell, losing consciousness upon impact. The man was semi-conscious and was rushed to Ruttonjee Hospital for treatment. He is currently in stable condition and remains hospitalised. The incident is being treated as an “industrial accident” and the police are conducting an investigation at the scene.
According to reports, the injured man is Mui Kai-ming, the brother of the late Cantopop star, Anita Mui. He was working in the kitchen as a cook when he slipped and fell due to a wet and slippery floor. His colleagues immediately reported the incident.
