28th May 2023 – (Hong Kong) At 9.37am today, a large tree measuring 30 meters in height suddenly collapsed on San Sik Road near Sunny Villa in Ha Tsuen, striking a parked Mercedes car and damaging its front end. Local villagers immediately reported the incident to the authorities, and firefighters quickly arrived on the scene to assess the situation.
Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident. Firefighters used tools to cut the fallen tree into smaller pieces and move them to the side of the road for cleanup and disposal. The damaged car had been parked in the area for an extended period of time and belonged to one of the local villagers.
