Kowloon rally initiated by several student organisations tomorrow rejected by police, public urged not to take part

6th June 2020 – (Hong Kong) The Kowloon rally initiated by several student organisations was originally scheduled for tomorrow (7th). The police issued a notice of objection on the march on Wednesday (3rd). The police said today (6th) on the Facebook page that they noticed that some netizens still continued to incite citizens to participate in unauthorised assembly on social media and police urged the public not to participate in any unauthorised assembly and prohibited group gatherings, and reiterated that no violence will be tolerated, and sufficient police will be deployed in relevant locations to quickly and decisively enforce the law.

It is unknown if the protesters will take to the streets tomorrow.
