23rd April 2024 – (Hong Kong) Fans of Hong Kong pop sensation Keung To, gathered in significant numbers at Ocean Park today, to celebrate the MIRROR band member’s upcoming 25th birthday. Despite the Hong Kong Observatory’s issuance of a yellow rainstorm warning, fervent supporters braved the storm, armed with rain gear and various fan paraphernalia, to attend the ‘KEUNG TO OCEAN CARNIVAL 2024’.

The event, held in a theme park, was punctuated by moments of joy and engagement as fans, undeterred by the inclement weather, participated in numerous activities set up across the venue. The organisers had arranged up to 20 photo spots and four paid game booths where fans could win limited edition plush toys of Keung To themed as various animals such as penguins and pandas.

The highlight of the event was Keung To’s appearance, which was greeted with loud cheers from the crowd of around 3,000 attendees. Dressed in a casual blue shirt, the pop star stepped onto the stage at approximately 3.50pm, visibly moved by the sea of fans before him. In his speech, Keung To openly shared his vulnerabilities, expressing gratitude towards his fans and discussing the challenges of the past year, including his fears of waning fan support.

“Over the past year, it has not been easy. I have doubted whether you would still be here for my next birthday,” Keung To confessed to his audience, who responded with affirmations of their unwavering support. Emotionally charged, he continued, “I am not perfect, but I strive to pursue my dreams, and I hope that as I grow older, the seeds I plant in your hearts will inspire future generations to chase their dreams too.”
