7th February 2023 – (Hong Kong) At around 7pm today, Jurlique skincare store on the first floor of Tuen Mun Town Plaza Phase 1 suddenly caught fire. The firefighters rushed to the shop after receiving the report and quickly extinguished the fire. After preliminary investigation, it is believed that the fire was caused by burning scented candles in the store, and the cause of the fire was not suspicious. During the fire, a female shop assistant surnamed Chan (32 years old) felt unwell after inhaling smoke and was sent to Tuen Mun Hospital for treatment. Another 11 women and 9 men were evacuated to a safe location with the assistance of police officers.
