2nd September 2026 – (Hong Kong) Philippine fast food giant Jollibee has decided to withdraw its planned United States listing in favour of pursuing a share sale in Hong Kong, aiming to draw on its established Asian profile and secure backing for the company’s long-term development. Jollibee believes that the brand’s prominence within Asia, together with the supportive business environment and relevant investor base in Hong Kong, form an ideal foundation for its capital raising objectives.
Earlier this year, the company announced a review over the possible separation of its international operations for a proposed listing in the United States, while its Philippine business would remain listed locally. However, reports from international media have now confirmed that Jollibee is shifting the venue for the listing of its international arm to Hong Kong, with the process possibly being completed by the end of next year. The move comes as the group seeks to enhance its focus on core markets and align its corporate growth strategies with investor interests in the region.
