17th August 2026 – (Singapore) During a much-anticipated Singapore stop on their joint Asia tour, Taiwanese actors Jerry Yan, Vanness Wu, Vic Chou and Mayday’s lead vocalist Ashin delivered memorable performances that delighted fans but also brought an unexpected moment of candour. Taking to the stage, Jerry Yan shared openly with the audience that he had been struggling with an issue affecting his eyesight, a challenge that had, by his own admission, been intensified by the pressures and demands of preparing for the concert shows.
Relating his experience, Jerry Yan described how his health concern came to a head when he was feeling at his lowest, and how it was Ashin who stepped in to offer genuine friendship and help, even personally offering to drive him to see a doctor. “Recently, while working on the concert, I’ve been under a lot of pressure and actually my eyes have been having some problems. When I was at my lowest, Ashin said he would drive me to the doctor.
