Japanese second-hand fashion retailer 2nd STREET opens first Hong Kong store in MOKO

7th May 2025 – (Hong Kong) Invest Hong Kong (InvestHK) announced that 2nd STREET, a Japanese retailer specialising in second-hand fashion, will open its first Hong Kong outlet in MOKO on 9th May. The move signifies a notable expansion of the company’s presence in the region.

“Hong Kong’s unique blend of internationality and high consumer spending power makes it an ideal location for businesses seeking growth,” said Arnold Lau, Associate Director-General of Investment Promotion at InvestHK.

2nd STREET Hong Kong Limited, a subsidiary of GEO Holdings Corporation, aims to promote sustainable consumption by buying and selling pre-owned products. The first outlet, located in Mong Kok, will focus on clothing and accessories, targeting environmentally conscious consumers.

Sadaharu Deguchi, Chairman and Managing Director of 2nd STREET Hong Kong Limited, stated that Hong Kong’s strong fashion sensitivity and familiarity with the pre-owned market present a unique opportunity for the company. 2nd STREET, established in Japan in 1996, operates approximately 900 stores in Japan and 1,000 stores worldwide.
