25th October 2022 – (Hong Kong) A Japanese AV actress was arrested during an anti-vice operation on 17th October. She pleaded guilty at the Kowloon City Magistrates’ Courts today (25th) and was sentenced to two months’ imprisonment. Acting Chief Magistrate said in sentencing that it is appropriate for such crime to be sentenced to imprisonment.
Yumi Nakajima, a 27-year-old Japanese woman, was charged with one count of “violating conditions of stay”. She is known to have previously acted adult films in Japan. She has been crying since pleading guilty in court today. The facts of the case allege that on 17th October this year, the Special Duty Team of the Yau Tsim Police District dispatched undercover police officers to disguise e clients in a room at Kimberley Hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui. After answering the door, the defendant told the undercover agent that she could provide erotic massage and sexual services for a fee of HK$5,000. The police officer later identified himself, and the defendant showed her Japanese passport to the police officer for investigation.
Police seized condoms, towels, disinfectant alcohol and other items in the hotel room. Further investigation by the police found that the defendant came to Hong Kong on 10th October this year and was allowed to stay as a visitor until 8th January next year. The defendant remained silent under the caution at the time of her arrest. After further questioning and caution by the police, the defendant admitted to providing massage services to the undercover police officer for monetary gain.
Officers from the Police department and Immigration Department, launched anti-vice operation in the Yau Ma Tei and TST districts at about 2pm on 17th October after in-depth investigations. During the operation, police officers arrested a total of 3 Mainland women and 6 foreign women, including 5 Indonesian and 1 Filipino (aged 29 to 42), in the vicinity of Nathan Road, Jordan Road and Hart Avenue respectively. They were suspected of “overstaying” and “not carrying identification documents when going out”. In addition, the police also raided several hotels and commercial buildings in the area, and arrested 6 foreign women (4 Thais, 1 Vietnamese and 1 Japanese) and 1 mainland woman. All of them aged 23 to 44.
