Indian man assaulted in Sha Tin before lodging police report at Chungking Mansions

7th March 2019 – (Hong Kong) A 28 year old Indian man lodged a report with the police at Chungking Mansions on Nathan Road at 11pm yesterday after he was allegedly beaten by 4 other Indians near Lok Shun Path in Sha Tin.

The men absconded with his HK$5,000 phone and HK$5,000 cash after the brawl. The Indian man sustained facial, neck and back injuries and was sent to hospital. Police are currently investigating the case.

一名以免遣返聲請獲發「行街紙」留港的28歲印度裔男子,昨日(6日)晚上11時許,在尖沙咀彌敦道36號重慶大廈報警,指較早前在沙田樂信徑與駿景路交界,遭4名同鄉男子拳腳交加毆打,更被人乘機偷走一部值5000港元的手機及約5000港元現款,對方得逞後逃去,他亦自行離去。

警員到場調查,發現印漢面、頸及背部受傷,召救護車送院治理,案件列為盜竊及襲擊致造成實際身體傷害,由油尖警區刑事調查隊跟進,正了解事主為何未有即時報案,以及案件是否有內情。
