Hundreds of young protesters gather in Tin Shui Wai and Edinburgh Place in Central to shout anti-government slogans and sing ‘Glory to Hong Kong

14th September 2019 – (Hong Kong) Over 100 protesters ignored police ban and gathered at Tin Sau Road Park at around 2.30pm before marching towards Tin Shui Wai MTR Light Rail Station. Police disapproved the rally because of potential clash and disruption at a shopping mall nearby and Tin Shui Wai Police Station.

Protesters shouted anti-government slogans and sang ‘Glory to Hong Kong’. The protesters urged the U.S. government to pass the Hong Kong Human Rights and Democracy Act as soon as possible. Many were seen waving the U.S. flags. The group started to march towards the MTR Station at 3.30pm.

Edinburgh Place.

Meanwhile, at 2.35pm, at least 200 protesters gathered at Edinburgh Place in Central to shout anti-government slogans and urged U.S. government to pass the Hong Kong Human Rights and Democracy Act.

Riot police officers were on standby at Exits A, B, E and F of Central MTR Station to check on protesters.
