13th April 2023 – (Hong Kong) After a hiatus, Hong Kong’s much-loved outdoor gin festival, Ginsanity, is back and better than ever. The two-day event will be held on Friday, 12th May, and Saturday, 13th May, 2023, from 4pm to 10pm on Friday and 1pm to 10pm on Saturday. The event will take place at PMQ, Aberdeen Street, and is free to enter.

Ginsanity will showcase over dozens of different gins from around the world, providing an opportunity for experienced and new gin drinkers alike to discover, try, and buy new favorites. More than 50 distilleries will be offering over 100 different variations from around the world over the course of the event, ensuring that there will be something for everybody to enjoy.

Each booth has its own space to explain and describe the gins they represent. Vendors from across the gin spectrum, including local distillers and distributors, will be showcasing their products and cocktails. Beyond the booths, guests will have access to masterclasses, cocktail demonstrations, and many other gin-based activities.

To encourage guests to try more gins and discover more favorites, vendors will provide G&Ts at an affordable rate, starting at HK$65 for a 350ml drink, with specialty cocktails and other non-alcoholic options also available. This year, Fever-Tree Tonic Water will be the official tonic and mixing partner of Ginsanity, with every vendor serving a range of Fever-Tree Tonic Water to complete their cocktails.

Ginsanity is all about discovering new favorites, and every gin available to be enjoyed at the festival will also be available for purchase at the kiosk. Every order made on-site will be delivered to the customer’s home free of charge by the following week.

The event organisers are also committed to going green by implementing new tactics to ensure that the event is enjoyable for customers and lessens its impact on the planet. These tactics include using reusable cups instead of single-use plastic cups, providing water fountains to eliminate single-use water bottles, and encouraging guests to bring their own cups.

Ginsanity will be cashless to ensure a safer event for everyone. All patrons will require a pre-loaded RFID card to purchase G&Ts, cocktails, and food. Patrons are encouraged to pre-load their spending before the event to eliminate any need to queue. Those who pre-load before the event will also be able to access the “Express Line” at the venue, streamlining their experience from first arriving at the event to receiving their first G&T.

Ginsanity is a must-attend event for gin lovers and those looking for a fun, unique outdoor experience in Hong Kong.
