15th September 2026 – (Hong Kong) The Hong Kong Space Museum will premiere its new Space Theatre dome presentation, Wild Asia: Life at Extremes, tomorrow, inviting audiences to traverse the Himalayas, the Gobi Desert and the Pacific depths to witness how wildlife adapts and endures in some of the region’s harshest habitats. Viewers will follow elusive species including the snow leopard near icy summits, the long‑eared jerboa in desert landscapes and the striking “sea bunny” nudibranch in deep waters, showcasing predator‑prey dynamics and survival ingenuity across Asia.
Running for 43 minutes, the show will screen from 16th September 2026 until 14th June 2027. Sessions are scheduled at 5.00pm on weekdays (Monday, Wednesday to Friday), and at 11.00am, 3.30pm and 8.00pm on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. Standard admission is set at HK$30 for front stalls and HK$40 for stalls, with concessionary rates available. Selected sessions are presented in English, and a multi‑channel headphone system offers Cantonese, Putonghua and English options.
Tickets are available through regular museum channels. The Hong Kong Space Museum, at 10 Salisbury Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, is closed on Tuesdays except public holidays. Visitors are advised to check the Space Theatre schedule for any special arrangements, including holiday‑eve hours.
