20th May 2024 – (Hong Kong) The Hong Kong Police Force (HKPF) announced a momentous achievement on Sunday, revealing the successful seizure of approximately 225 kg of suspected cocaine. This monumental drug bust stands as the largest cocaine confiscation in the region thus far in the year. In addition to the seizure, law enforcement authorities apprehended two individuals linked to the illicit operation.

The crackdown unfolded when HKPF officers executed a meticulously planned raid on a warehouse premises last Friday. During the operation, their vigilant search led them to the discovery of the contraband, cunningly concealed among containers purportedly transporting scrap iron. These containers had originated from South America, raising concerns about the global reach of drug smuggling networks.
