The event is expected to attract international visitors and further solidify Hong Kong’s position as a hub for major international sports engagements.

Known as one of Hong Kong’s highly anticipated summer events, the Hong Kong International Dragon Boat Races will feature thrilling races by top dragon boat teams from around the world. Beyond the competition, spectators can immerse themselves in Hong Kong’s unique Eastern charm through an array of cultural performances and delectable food stalls.

The “M” Mark System, established by the MSEC, aims to encourage local national sports associations, private organizations, and non-governmental entities to host more major international sports events and nurture them into sustainable endeavours. Events that meet the assessment criteria are granted the esteemed “M” Mark status, with some events also receiving funding support.
