1st September 2026 – (Hong Kong) The third edition of Hong Kong Fashion Fest opened today at the Hong Kong Palace Museum with Virtuose: The Artistry of Couture 2026, a runway celebration curated by the Hong Kong Fashion Designers Association. Bringing together four designer labels from Spain, Vietnam and Hong Kong, the showcase placed exceptional craft and creativity centre stage, signalling the city’s ambition to champion high fashion and design excellence.
Speaking at the launch, the Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism, Rosanna Law, said the festival underlines the Government’s commitment to positioning Hong Kong as Asia’s leading fashion design capital. She noted that the city aims to harness creative talent across the full fashion value chain, further strengthening its role as a regional hub for design and retail.
The evening also marked the debut of Wear’s HK, a new flagship programme presented by the Clothing Industry Training Authority. Running from 1st to 14th September, the citywide pop‑up convenes 20 established and emerging Hong Kong brands at six prime destinations, translating the runway into an immersive “see‑now, try‑now, wear‑now, buy‑now” experience for residents and visitors.
At the opening, the Permanent Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism, Vivian Sum, described Wear’s HK as a fresh initiative that brings local labels directly into retail spaces, allowing the public to engage first‑hand with the dynamism of Hong Kong’s creative scene.
