Hong Kong Disneyland to reopen this Thursday, MTR Disney Line to resume service

15th June 2020 – (Hong Kong) Hong Kong Disneyland announced that it will reopen on this Thursday (18th). At the beginning of the reopening, visitors must make an appointment through the Disneyland website and make a health declaration when making an appointment. However, Disneyland did not disclose the maximum number of people allowed to enter the park every day, only saying that most of the amusement facilities, shops and restaurants in the park will be reopened at the same time, but the maximum number of visitors will be controlled.

According to Disneyland’s announcement, at the beginning of the reopening, all visitors, including park ticket holders, General Magic Excess members and free ticket holders can enjoy a day of priority reservations for admission to the park, which will start today (15th).

Reservations for other visitors to enter the park will begin at 12 noon tomorrow (16th). Hong Kong Disneyland was closed as early as late January, and it has been nearly five months so far since it suspended operations. The epidemic led to the closure of six Disney parks around the world. The first to resume operations was Shanghai Disneyland, which had reopened last month.

To coincide with the reopening of the park, the MTR Disney Line will resume train service the day after tomorrow (Wednesday), with the frequency every 10 minutes during peak hours and 20 minutes during non-peak hours.
