Hong Kong Dior Men Pre-Fall show on 23rd March cancelled and postponed indefinitely

23rd February 2024 – (Hong Kong) The highly anticipated international fashion show by Dior, scheduled for next month, has been postponed without a clear explanation from the brand. While the government has confirmed the news, attributing it to occasional delays in large-scale events, no further details have been provided. The show was originally scheduled to be held at Kai Tak Cruise Terminal.

The Dior Men Pre-Fall show was originally planned to take place on the 23rd of next month, marking the brand’s first global fashion showcase in Hong Kong. Kim Jones, the artistic director for Dior Men’s Fashion, was expected to attend the event. Earlier, Adrian Cheng, the chairman of the  Mega Arts and Cultural Events Committee, had even shared a temporary social media post featuring a photo of himself with Dior’s global ambassador and French football star, Kylian Mbappé, captioned “See you in Hong Kong.”

Although this fashion exhibition does not involve funding from the Mega Arts and Cultural Events Fund, the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, along with relevant departments and the Event Committee, had provided full support for the logistical arrangements.
